Celebrating One More Year of My TWENTIES!

I'm not 30 yet! 

I had a great 29th birthday this year and am very thankful for wonderful family and friends.

After dinner at Diehl's, I had a pink cake made by my three guys.

Two Big Milestones

Devin had an eventful week...his first two teeth and crawling.

Gearing Up for Soccer

Avery is getting ready to start playing soccer this week in a U4 league (kids turning four in the coming year). He will probably be one of the youngest on the team, but I am hoping he can keep up. As requested by his coach, we got his gear: size 3 ball, shin guards, and cleats. We practiced for the first time today out in the yard and Avery's quote after 5 minutes, "I am the greatest player in the world." I guess we still need to learn about showmanship. I am really looking forward to watching a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds run around after a ball. Should be quite amusing!

Avery Starts Preschool

Avery started preschool this past week at St. Paul's United Methodist, just down the road. He is attending Tuesdays and Thursdays. He seems to feel right at home and has already come home with paint on his arms, candy for good behavior and stickers for putting toys away. So far, no notes sent home from the teacher and no requests for parent-teacher conferences yet. Whew!
