We have had quite a few warm days here at our homestead, but the first snow called for some serious playtime outside. Devin mostly tried to eat snow and remove his gloves, but Avery thought it was a blast throwing snow at his mother and sliding down the hill on his butt (No, we don't have a sled yet, but will get one).
Derrick had a nice long break from work between Christmas and New Year's. One of his projects during that week was building a trash bin for our trash cans. We used to keep the trash cans outside, but there were many mornings that Derrick and I had to clean up trash all over the yard due to little raccoons having a hay day in our disposables. What a great way to start a day! Then, we moved to the garage and that was just a stinky situation. So, this was great solution. Problem solved.
Welcome 2012! 2011 was a great year for us. We welcomed our little Devin among so many other blessings throughout the year. I thought it might be a good idea to get a look back on 2011 and an outlook of 2012 from the eyes of a 3-year old. Might also be fun to look back on as the years go by to see how his questions change, along with his speech, appearance, and general attitude toward the interview. Here is just a snippet of that exclusive interview.
