Some Perfect Sunsets
The sky never ceases to amaze me out here. Every night it is different. Truly amazing sunsets. (Photos don't do them justice)

Avery's 1st Day at Pre-K
Avery started his first day of Pre-K at Billings Christian on August 21st. His teacher Ms. Brenda is very nice and it sounds like they have a lot of fun things planned for the year. Here's to a great year, Avery!
Last Days of Summer
It has been hot here. Over 90 every day. And while we don't have the humidity out here, it is still hot. We are trying to enjoy it because we know it will be turning soon and we will be begging for the heat back. We've spent a lot of time bike riding, playing baseball, and sucking down popsicles. Fun times with all these boys in the neighborhood.
Big Boy Now
Devin has had a tough week, but has proven to be a big boy now! He has not only been working on potty training and doing really well, he also gave up his paci. Good work Devin! Daddy is going to have to get you that bike :-)

Idaho/Wyoming Trip
We had a great trip to Idaho and Wyoming. We met up with Nick and Brandy, and her family. Derrick set off with the rest of the hiking group to hike and camp in the Tetons. I think he had a great time, but was excited for a shower. Me and the boys spent some quality time with Brandy, her mom, Deb, and Baleigh and Cody. Although it was hectic at times, we had a lot of fun, and some good stories from the trip as well.
Teton Mountains, saying farewell to the hiking crew.
Devin checking out some big game in Jackson Hole.
Day in Jackson, shopping, riding around in the horse and buggy, and eating some good food.
Riding the Tram.
Amazing view at the top of the mountain.
Arriving at Jenny Lake.
Riding the boat across the lake. We did some hiking with four small kids in tow.
Dancing at the Chuckwagon. Lots of fun.
More great views.
Devin
I love finding the pics that Devin takes of himself on my phone. Some of them are so darn cute.
But he doesn't really take a bad photo and neither does his brother. (I'm a little biased)
Golfing
Avery went golfing for the first time with his dad and he seemed to really like it. He especially liked driving the golf cart :)

Avery's First Paycheck
Now that he is FIVE, he is starting to EARN an allowance. So the first week started late, but in a full-week he could earn up to $3.00. We are hoping this will teach him a little bit about saving money and that money doesn't grow on trees. He has been doing a really good job with chores so far. Helping with before and after lunch and dinner setup and clean-up, cleaning up his room, helping put away laundry, dishes, etc.
Red Lodge and Beartooth Pass
Last weekend we drove down to Red Lodge for lunch and to window shop. Very cool little town. Along the way we saw the real, live Mater! Boys thought it was pretty cool. Then right out of Red Lodge we hit the Beartooth Highway which is only open during the summer months. Now I know why! It was incredibly steep and extremely treacherous in places. The road takes you to the top of the mountains. We stopped at the top and got out for awhile. Beautiful view! It was probably 30 degrees colder up there, than back in Red Lodge.
