Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Here is a little profile of our healthy baby BOY! Yes. It's true. No sugar and spice here. Dump trucks, dirt, wrestling, football...oh my my! I can't imagine the trouble these two little boys are going to get into, the headaches they will give their mom, and the hours of ESPN that will be watched in our house. All kidding aside, we are actually quite excited about the news. We LOVE having a boy, so why not two?

Another Year Has Come and Gone

Had a great 28th birthday on Sunday. I awoke to kicking in my belly, spent the morning with my wonderful husband enjoying breakfast and hiking to the top of the mountain behind the lake, met my mom, dad, and Kyle for lunch and was reunited with my little buddy, played outside with Avery and Derrick all afternoon, and had a banana split sundae in the evening. I would say God has blessed me!

Boder-Louka Wedding

Saturday, Derrick and I attended the Boder-Louka Wedding. Lauren is one of my dearest friends here in Charleston. We spent many long hours working closely together at CRA and have remained great friends. She married Patrick, an outstanding guy. They are the perfect couple and had the perfect wedding. It was held on Benedict Haid Farm east of Charleston. It was so fitting for their personalities. The bluegrass band was awesome, the food was delicious, and the toasts brought me to tears. Derrick and I were so busy chatting (being adults for once), I got hit in the head with the champagne cork! Lauren will be moving to Raleigh, NC to join her husband as they start their life together. Best of luck! I will miss you!

(Avery spent the night with Mamaw and Papaw in Ohio. He had so much fun!)

I look like a giant here, but in real-life we are all about the same height. It's the shoes!

Nitro Football Game

Doing our best to partake in Nitro community events...so, we attended a Wildcat football game on Friday night. Although we only stayed for the first half, it was fun! We heard the next day that Nitro lost, but they looked pretty good on the field.

 Avery cannot contain the excitement.

Pizza Boy

Anytime I ever ask Avery what he would like for lunch, the answer is always "PIZZA!" Sometimes I give in to this notion. My little buddy likes to help during the whole process and he likes his pizza extra cheesy if you can't tell from this picture.

Pool Days Coming To An End

Pool season is coming to a close. We are getting ready to shut her down for the year this weekend. We have loved having the pool this summer. It has been a ton of work and maintenance, but well worth it. Avery has progressed a lot in the water as the summer went on. He jumps to one of us and even requests to go "unnerwaer" from time to time. Can't wait for next year!

Tiff & Matt's Wedding Weekend

What a beautiful weekend for a wedding...And a beautiful wedding it was! We had an awesome time celebrating with Tiff and Matt. Tiff was a gorgeous bride, the reception was amazing, and the cupcakes were to die for. Thank you for making Avery part of your big day!
