After a long battle with algae, we finally got the pool cleared up. We decided to give up on the pool store's advice and go with our instincts and a little online advice. We double shocked the pool, added a ton of chlorine, and kept brushing and sweeping it regularly. Sure enough the pool started to turn blue over night. It was magic!
We are really enjoying it during these hot summer days. Trying to teach Avery the fun side and dangerous side of the water. We are working with him on swimming, eventhough sometimes he doesn't like it. We feel it is 100% necessary for him to learn how to swim eventually since we have the pool in the backyard.
