Brian & Katie's Wedding

Derrick was honored to be a part of Brian Sargent's Wedding in early November. It was a class reunion of sorts being that many of our classmates and high school friends were in the wedding. It was a gorgeous wedding and another fun weekend in Cincinnati. 

Halloween Fun

October Snow (aka Sandy)

Hurricane Sandy brought some wild weather to West Virginia. We had several inches of snow right before Halloween. We lost our electric for about a day and thankfully it was restored. Below is Avery's reaction to seeing snow outside. 

Kayla & Matt's Wedding

On October 20th, we headed to Cincinnati for a gorgeous wedding and a fun reception. The boys were dressed for the occasion with their ties and all. Kayla and Matt made a beautiful couple and we had lots of fun hanging out with all our cousins. Great weekend!

Virginia Beach

In early October, I had to go to Richmond and DC for work. So, mom and the boys went along for the trip. They had lots of fun sightseeing around Richmond while I worked and then on that Friday we drove down to Virginia Beach for a day in the sand. Even though the breeze was freezing, they had no problem getting in the water. Avery was soaked from head to toe. It was a beautiful day!

We finally got the kitchen finished in late September. We love the way it turned out and couldn't be happier!
