Happy 3rd Birthday Avery!!!

We can't believe it, but Avery is now 3! 

We hope this next year goes by very slowly. 

Hopefully Avery had a great birthday because we sure had a lot of fun with him.
In addition, to the fun birth-DAY, Avery had a great weekend getting visits from both sets of grandparents and getting some awesome gifts for a big three year old boy. Thank you!

Warden Wedding

One of Derrick's best friends and roommate from college, Lowell Warden, got married to the lovely Julie Tawney this past weekend. Derrick was asked to be one of his groomsmen. They had a beautiful wedding and the reception was a blast! It was fun getting dressed up and spending time with friends. Thanks to mom and dad for coming down and spending the day/night with the boys. I truly was not worried one bit. 

VBS

Avery spent his evenings this week at Vacation Bible School at the preschool he will be attending this year. Derrick and I were surprised at how willing he was to go without knowing a single person there. His teachers said he did a good job of paying attention and participating. He is our independent little man!
