Back to Preschool

Avery started his second year of preschool at St. Paul's UMC in Nitro. He is one of the older kids in his class this year, which should make this year a breeze ;-)

Mobile Uploads

Unfortunately, some of the "could be" best pictures are often taken on my phone. Even if they are really blurry, they are still cute.

Kitchen Remodel

We have been busy remodeling our kitchen lately. It has been a ton of work, but we are starting to see the payoff. It is looking good. We are waiting on our countertops to come in and then a few finishing touches. Here are some progression pics. More to come of the finished product!

Wrestling Match with Papa

These boys give Papa a run for his money in the wrestling ring. I think he can still take them both. Avery loses power quickly in the scissor hold and the sleeper.

Happy 4th Birthday Avery!!!

Where have the years gone? I can not wrap my head around this little boy being 4. Avery has been such a blessing to us and this new age has made me realize how much I need to cherish the next few years because school is right around the corner. There are so many things I love about this kid, but his sense of humor has got to be my favorite right now. He is constantly cracking jokes on his parents. I wish I could bottle up his humor to show him someday what a witty child he was. The other thing I love is our nighttime chats. Instead of rushing out the door after story time, like I usually do, we spend some time talking about whatever. It usually ends in laughing or sometimes more serious talks like, how electricity gets to our house. What? Can't believe I have to attempt to answer these questions already. Growing up so fast. I love you Avery! You have been such a wonderful blessing to me...you have no idea. I am so proud that you are my son.

Ok, enough sentimental stuff. Here is the enormous amount of fun we had on Avery's birthday.
